Material | Grade/Alloy | Hardness (HRC) | Tensile Strength (ksi) | Yield Strength (ksi) | Machinability | Density (lb/in³) | Notes |

Hardness: Rockwell C scale. Higher numbers indicate harder materials that are more difficult to machine.
Machinability Rating: Relative ease of machining compared to AISI 1212 steel (100% baseline).
Tensile Strength: Maximum stress material can withstand before breaking.
Yield Strength: Stress at which material begins permanent deformation.
Tool Selection: Harder materials require carbide or coated tools. Softer materials can use HSS.
